  • For an L-shaped pour, the inside (re-entrant) corner where the two sections meet confirmed reinforced, not just left as a standard control joint
  • Isolation/expansion joint provided wherever the driveway meets an existing structure (garage slab, sidewalk, street apron, foundation)

  • Concrete curing method (moist curing, curing compound, or curing blankets) confirmed and applied for the appropriate duration
  • Finish texture (broom finish or equivalent) confirmed for slip resistance, appropriate to the local climate
  • Air-entrained concrete mix confirmed specified in any climate with freeze-thaw cycles
